The power of the gospel is still at work. Today (Aug. 6, 2011), two more souls accepted the gift of eternal life in Christ Jesus (Romans 6:23b). Brother JM and sister Merriefin went down into the water and were baptized (Acts 8:38-39). Both of them are BS in Computer Science students of UP Cebu. Thanks be to God for giving them the opportunity to know the gift of Christ to humanity and how to accept such a gift! So let us welcome them to the family of God.
God is really good and great! When brother Carl was told that we could use the swimming pool if we pay P 160/head, he went out discouraged. Then I told him, “Don’t worry, I’ll take care of it.” So I tried seeking permission to use the pool for free. Praise the Lord! We were allowed to use the pool of Hadsan Cove Resort for the baptism for free. Thanks to the kind person who gave us the permission to use it for free. May God bless that person! May that person become a child of God!
