Today Sept. 11, 2011, the church of Christ in Tisa celebrated its third anniversary since we started meeting in Tisa. We were blessed by the message of brother Reuben S. Emperado who gave the sermon for the occasion. We were also blessed by the presence of the brethren from the church of Christ in Tayud, Consolacion who joined with us in fellowship. It was really a joy to see the brethren worshiping together with gladness of heart.
Another event worthy to mention is the wedding ceremony of brother Van Owen M. Sesaldo, who got married to Sharon Rose Monte. They were officially married yesterday (Sept. 10, 2011) in Argao. But they opted to have another ceremony in the church building today. Brother Ronnie “Bong” Delos Santos came to officiate the wedding ceremony. After the ceremony, we had lunch together and had some activities for the newly wed couple. Thanks God that we were able to let the couple feel the love and care that we have as members of God’s family. The couple especially the wife acknowledged that the ceremony in the church was much better than the one held in Argao, though it was the official one. Thanks to the brothers and sisters who made this possible. Thanks for your efforts and time spent during the preparation especially to the wedding coordinator sister Anna Rosa N. Cortes.
