The Church of Christ in Tisa Hosts the 27th Ladies Inter-Congregational Fellowship

The ladies from church of Christ in Tisa hosted the 27th Ladies Inter-congregational Fellowship last Saturday, January 21, 2012 with the theme: “Christian Woman as a Living Sacrifice.” It was well participated by the ladies coming from the different parts of Cebu Province. More than a hundred ladies participated, and everyone was blessed with the different activities that could strengthen the faith, the sisterhood, and the ability to create materials useful for Sunday school teachers.

The participants came from San Remegio; Bogo; Arapal; Danao; Compostela; Tayud, Liloan; Tayud, Consolacion; Mactan; Mandaue; Talamban; Banilad; Uptown; Downtown; Lilia’s Place; Southside; and Toledo. Thank you all for coming and for actively participating. Thanks to the ladies from the Church of Christ in Danao, who willingly accepted the challenge of hosting the 28th Ladies Inter-congregational Fellowship to be held in the second quarter of the year.

Thanks to the very cooperative ladies from the church of Christ in Tisa, who exerted efforts in preparing for this activity. Thanks to sister Jenny for the design of the backdrop and other design stuff. Thanks to sister Arianne for doing invaluable tasks. She slept in the church building for a couple of nights just to help in the preparation. Thanks to sis. Anna and company, who participated in decorating the stage. Thanks to all who led the major events: sisters Malou, Larmie, Carol, and Sharon for the plenary session, once young group, young ones group, and the arts and crafts, respectively. Thanks to those who led the different prayers.

Thanks also to the gentlemen from the church of Christ in Tisa, who give their strength in doing many tasks like helping in preparing the food, carrying the tables, and cleaning the venue after the fellowship. Thanks to bro. Roger Ouano, who volunteered to cook the food for lunch. Thanks to bro. Joshua, sis. Jenny, and Hannah for taking photos.

Thanks to the Sesaldo family – Owen and Sharon – for allowing us to cook the food for lunch in their apartment. Thanks to bro. Smith and sis. Mil for sponsoring the morning snacks. Thanks to bro. Owen and company for preparing the morning snacks. Thanks to sis. Lilian and Christine “Gingging” for helping us out.

I may not be able to thank each one of you, but I should not forget to thank God and return to Him all the honor and glory that He deserves. This is the most important of all: we are very thankful to God who made the activity a success.
